Fish Ladder Pond for 'Public Open Space' and Reserve?

CV&HRA would like to see the Gold Coast City Council purchase this delicate section of the river with the funds collected through our rates listed as 'green levy'. Protection of the foreshore from development of this special freshwater lake section directly above the Fish Ladder at the far west end of Sea Eagle Lagoon is paramount. Numerous Development Applications have been made over the years to commercialise these delightful green sections of river bank. History has proven in times of flood many of these proposed 'developable sections' do in fact go under water.
