Blind Koala Crossing - Howard Creek 2006

Mid 2006 this large male Koala was lucky to escape with his life. On closer investigation it was seen that he was blind in both eyes. Although fat and healthy looking at first glance, 'Blind Freddy' as he was nick-named, was destined for disaster trying to cross Tamborine Oxenford Road in the middle of the day. He was helped on his way by numerous locals and passers by. Thankyou for stopping and caring.
