Hundreds of residents have lived here for decades and have taken many photos of the area. We would like to display these as historical record. At our home in Wongawallan we have been photographically recording the wildlife of the area as we have noticed that species populations rapidly change. For example, we are sad to report that the many bandicoots and green tree frogs we used to see have all but disappeared in our area although we have happily noted a dramatic increase to the numbers of glossy black cockatoos. We have also recently seen an echidna in our backyard and a very large goanna. We have also vigilantly been culling the cane toad population in a humane manner which hopefully should see a return of frog species.
